Scottish Training Federation
The Scottish Training Federation was originally formed in 1990 to represent providers of ‘National Training Programmes’ operating throughout the Scottish Enterprise and Northern regions.
In 2004 the association re-established itself as a company limited by guarantee – STF Limited.
Acting as the collective voice of its members, STF has become recognised by the Scottish Government, and other key stakeholders in the work based learning industry, as the main representative body of learning providers in Scotland.

2011 STF Conference Success If you were at the Conference at Crieff Hydro – we are sure you will agree it was an excellent event, informative and enjoyable. A range of presentations including from the Minister for Learning & Skills Dr Alasdair Allan, the Chief Executive of Skills Development Scotland Damien Yeates, Sylivia Halkerston and from Prof Ewart Keep, along with various seminars and interactive workshops meant that the event was a great success.
