Joining STF
Acting as the collective voice of its members, STF has become recognised as the main representative body of learning providers in Scotland.
STF has been able to strengthen and professionalise the organisation, creating a robust platform from which to build in the future, and it now represents learning providers in Scotland involved in the delivery of a wide range of vocational programmes, including SVQs and Modern Apprenticeships. Membership comprises colleges, local authorities, private and not-for-profit learning providers and accounts for over two thirds of the Modern Apprentices in training in Scotland.
The strength of STF lies in the diverse network of learning providers which it represents, and the level of communication and participation which exists within its membership. Strong links have also been developed on a UK national basis, through associate membership of the Association of Learning Providers.
