Strathearn Training

Strathearn Training is an independent training company based in Kirkintilloch, run on a Partnership basis by Debra Murphy and Jim Murphy.  Debra started the business in February 2006 and has many years’ experience in the training world, starting as an Assessor and Internal Verifier for a training company in her home town of Halifax, West Yorkshire, before re-locating to Scotland.  Debra is also an External Verifier with OCR.

 

Jim joined the company full time in April 2009 and is now an Assessor, Internal Verifier and First Aid Trainer/Assessor.  Jim also has over 38 years’ experience as a lift engineer/fitter.

 

Both Debra and Jim are volunteers with St Andrews Ambulance as First Aiders.

 

Strathearn Training has accreditation with:

 

·         SQA and EDI Awarding Bodies for S/NVQs/MA
·         CfA for Modern Apprenticeships in Business and Administration
·         ICS for Modern Apprenticeships in Customer Care
·         MSC for Modern Apprenticeships in Management
·         Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for First Aid Courses
