Members will be aware that the Customer Services SVQs expired on 18/12/2015. Although new SVQs are available, CTS has not been updated to reflect this, meaning providers have been unable to enter any new starts since 18 December 2015.
The reason for the delay is that CTS is only updated with new qualification codes when a Modern Apprenticeship Framework is officially updated and approved by the Modern Apprenticeship Group (MAG).
In this instance, SkillsCFA – the Sector body with responsibility for the Customer Service MA – has not submitted an updated Framework to MAG for approval.
MAG has contacted SkillsCFA to urgently request an updated Framework. It is hoped that the situation can be resolved within two weeks.
