The NOCN Group is undertaking a discrete mapping exercise on behalf of a Department of the UK Government, to help to identify UK institutions that have the capacity and willingness to provide technical and implementation support for technical and skill development in India across several industry sectors.
In addition, NOCN is looking to identify Indian institutions working in the skilling space, which have the proven capacity to offer technical, curriculum development; training pedagogy and or implementation support for skills development in India, particularly in collaboration with the UK institutions.
The four target sectors within the scope of this project, are:
- Aerospace & Aviation
- Infrastructure: Building, Construction & Real Estate
- Renewable Energy
NOCN will be interested to learn if your organisation has the necessary technical and implementation expertise and support capability to undertake: training delivery, assessments, training of trainers, training of assessors, curriculum development, training pedagogy, centres of excellence, transnational standards, and quality assurance.
The mapping exercise is being conducted during December 2017 and throughout January 2018 to identify skills organisations across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to understand their expertise and how your organisation could operate in India – http://www.nocn.org.uk/india/india-uk_skills_project
Do you want to be involved?
If your organisation is interested in participating in this project with a view to working with recognised Indian partners, please complete the Support Skill India questionnaire – https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/NHTH2DZ .
The collected information from all interested organisations we help us gain an understanding of your organisation’s capacity and skills expertise in one of the four target sectors? On completion of the survey, NOCN will contact your organisation regarding next steps and requirements on how your organisation can support this exciting and ambitious project between India and the UK.
The purpose of this mapping exercise is to help identify potential India-UK partnerships for collaboration on Skill Development initiatives in India. While there are possibilities that the identified organisations may get a chance to work in India, NOCN Group and or the UK’s Government Department are not giving a guarantee of generating work for identified organisations.
