Nominations for the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards close on Wednesday, 27 June.
The awards, organised by Skills Development Scotland (SDS), recognise the best apprentices and apprentice employers from the length and breadth of the country.
As well as commending the achievements of the apprentices themselves, awards will applaud individuals who champion apprenticeships.
The outstanding work of instructors will be recognised for the first time with a new award, while a new Graduate Apprentice category is also included.
Employers of all sizes will also be in the running for recognition, including those who can demonstrate diversity in their recruitment.
SDS’s Director of National Training Programmes, Katie Hutton, said: “The Scottish Apprenticeship Awards is an opportunity to recognise the success of talented individuals and the commitment of employers investing in work-based learning.
“New categories this year help recognise contributions to the success of apprenticeships.
“We know that there are many individuals who have become invaluable mentors to apprentices over the years and it’s important to recognise their efforts and commitment.
“The introduction of a Graduate Apprenticeships category is an opportunity to celebrate this new work-based learning career path.”
Award winners will be revealed at a ceremony in Perth on Thursday November 15, including Scotland’s Apprentice of the Year 2018.
