Maureen is the owner and Managing Director of The Tell Organisation, which delivers training and contracts with Skills Development Scotland to deliver Modern Apprenticeships across Scotland and the Employability Fund in six different LEP areas in West Scotland.
She has worked with The Tell Organisation for over 20 years from the starting point of being a JobClub Leader and has built a substantial amount of knowledge and experience across a range of initiatives having worked closely with DWP, PACE, Skills Development Scotland, etc.
Maureen adopts a pragmatic, direct, empathetic and person-centred approach to all issues – be it providing personal support to a trainee struggling to cope, addressing local employability partners or approaching politicians to lobby on behalf of training providers.
Maureen is currently a Director and Vice Chair for Employability at the Scottish Training Federation where she provides a strong, committed voice for training providers in Scotland and seeks to influence policies which will enhance stability and sustainability for training provision in Scotland.
Maureen is also Chairman of West Dunbartonshire Creative Design Group NOLB and a Director of Tullochan.
Maureen was elected to the STF Board in November 2018.
