SDS is hosting roundtable discussion on the findings and recommendations of the Scottish Apprenticeship Advisory Board (SAAB) Gender Commission and the SDS Commission on Race in Apprenticeships. Both Commissions set out recommendations for both the provision of apprenticeships directly and other stakeholders, recognising that coordinated and sustained action is required to address systemic inequality in the labour market.
The aim of the event is to share progress, explore areas where efforts align, and discuss potential collaboration that could help advance the recommendations from both commissions on a system-wide scale.
