Apprentice Hairdresser, Reece Phimister, has been crowned the STF Apprentice of the Year 2015. Reece – who works at Napier Hair & Beauty in Paisley – was presented with a special trophy and certificate by Nigel Don MSP at an evening reception in the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday 19 May 2015.
Two other finalists – Dylan Bruce, employed by Fife Council, and Kirsty Lawson, employed by ASDA – also received certificates in recognition of their achievements. All three chatted with Annabelle Ewing MSP, Minister for Youth and Women’s Employment about their apprenticeship.
Over 150 delegates attended the evening reception – including several MSPs.
