A group of STF members met with Minister for Higher and Further Education, Graeme Dey, in Edinburgh recently.
A range of issues relating to the current Tertiary Education and Training (Funding and Governance) Bill and the broader apprenticeships and skills reform were discussed.
STF Chair, Caroline McFarlane, said: ‘We had a constructive and friendly conversation with the Minister and were able to discuss the challenges – and opportunities – that the Bill and reform process has brought. We look forward to continuing to liaise with the Minister and his officials to represent the interest of our members.’
