

A new group which brings together third sector organisations with an interest in apprenticeships has been set up.
The Third Sector Apprenticeship Reference Group aims to:
- Contribute practical, place-based insight that ensures the third sector is represented and fully embedded as an equal partner in shaping an inclusive, flexible and outcomes-focused apprenticeship system in Scotland
- Work collaboratively to strengthen the role of the third sector in apprenticeships and work-based learning, ensuring inclusive, high-quality delivery and better outcomes for under-represented and overlooked talent across Scotland.
The group has an open membership with an aspiration to represent the sector in key decision-making spaces for Apprenticeships of all shapes and sizes, including the future of Foundation Apprenticeships. More details are provided in the document below.
