The Scottish Funding Council (SFC) has announced the appointment of Paul Devoy as its Deputy Chief Executive.
Paul is the former Chief Executive of Investors in People where he led the Government buy-out in 2017 and went on to transform the organisation into a thriving, independent and sustainable community interest company.
Prior to that, Paul worked at the heart of the skills system, with leadership roles in UKCES, an NDPB advising government and industry on skills investment; the Financial Services Skills Council; and the Sector Skills Development Agency.
As a former non-executive board member of Forth Valley College, Paul also brings an understanding of the challenges facing the tertiary sector and the importance of sound financial regularity and good governance.
Paul Devoy will take up his new post on 24 August and will also take on the role of interim Chief Executive following the departure of SFC’s current CEO, Francesca Osowska.
