The Scottish Training Federation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Qualifications Scotland. The agreement reinforces both organisations’ commitment to supporting training providers as Qualifications Scotland fully assumes the role and responsibilities of Scotland’s national awarding body
Nick Page, Qualifications Scotland Chief Executive, said: ‘Building stronger partnerships with industry, employers, the third sector and stakeholders has been a key priority since I joined the organisation last year. Our relationship with Scottish Training Federation – and training providers across the country – creates real, tangible benefits for learners at every stage of their careers.
‘Together, we will continue delivering excellence for learners, employers and the economy – from schools through to colleges, training providers and lifelong learning.’
Caroline McFarlane, Chair of the Scottish Training Federation, said: ‘The partnership with Qualifications Scotland is invaluable to our sector. Training providers are at the heart of Scotland’s skills eco-system, delivering practical qualifications that benefit individuals, employers and our economy. I look forward to continuing our successful relationship and delivery for training providers and learners across the country.’
