The City & Guilds of London Institute has sold its commercial awarding and skills training businesses to PeopleCert, a global certification provider.
This sale, which includes businesses like City & Guilds Training, ILM, and The Oxford Group, will allow City & Guilds to focus on its charitable foundation work, while also strengthening the commercial businesses through investment and global infrastructure.
The deal, which is expected to be completed by the end of October 2025, will also see the transfer of City & Guilds’ London headquarters and other facilities to PeopleCert.
